Thankfully the young lady was found alive. I can't believe that a parent would let a 16 year old sail solo around the world. I wonder how much this rescue cost? Was this stunt done for the parents bragging rights? This girl should have been sneaking out the upstairs window to see her boyfriend or hiding to smoke a cigarette.
