Teen Sailor and Me

While I was musing about the parents letting their teenager sail solo around the world, I had to sit back and think about the things I did as a teenager. Sailing around the world? No! Doing stupid shit that could get me killed? Oh yeah! Too many times. Of course, my parents didn't know about them, until I got caught. Hell, at 12 and 13 I thought I knew everything. I really pushed the envelope. I thought my parents were stupid. Doesn't every teenager? It is amazing how smart your parents become the older you get. I'm sure my kids thought (think?) we were pretty stupid too! Wait until they have kids to find out how smart we really are.
