Cigarette Butts

Living on the western coast of Florida, our biggest concern right now is the oil spill. We are all praying (or at least hoping and wishing) that the spill will be contained and the gulf and coast be returned to normal. While this next little rant is nothing compared to the spill, the ignorance of people tend to just piss me off. Cigarette Butts at the beach. For Christ's sakes people, the beach is not a giant ashtray. If you are going to smoke at the beach, put out your butts and throw them in the trash can. They have them all up and down the beach. Another thing you stupid ignorant morons, when you bury a lit cigarette in the sand, it doesn't just magically extinguish. It stays hot for several minutes. There are lots of people walking there and don't want to get burned on your damned butts. Watch Your Butts!!
